Michaela Beck

Michaela Beck completed her BA studies at TU Dresden and is now in her third semester of the master’s program of British and American Studies. At the moment, she is spending a year abroad studying English Literature at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. After completing her MA studies in spring/summer 2015, she would like to pursue a PhD in the larger field of American literature. In particular, she is interested in ecocritical theory, animal studies, and metamediality. Apart from reading, she also enjoys hiking and even more so riding her bike 365 days a year.
