After completing her BA degree in American Studies at the University of Leipzig in 2023, Anika found herself unwilling to part ways with academia just yet, enrolling in the MA program. Driven by a passion for scrutinizing contemporary American politics, she directs her research efforts toward the intricate relationship between media and political dynamics. Her primary focus lies on reactionary media and online culture subcultures, investigating their interconnection with right-wing radicalization and extremism within the current bipartisan political landscape of the United States.
