Tuna Özmeriç

A news junkie from a young age, Tuna developed an interest in international events, world history and politics, and eventually found his way into the BA in American Culture and Literature at Ege University in İzmir, Turkey, where he got curious about much wider subjects ranging from mythology to psychology. Although during and after this program, he worked as an English teacher in İzmir for a while, he later decided to dip into academia once again in the MA in American Studies at Leipzig University in Leipzig, Germany. On the rare occasion that he is not running errands while listening to podcasts on his bike, you can catch him at home on his seventh re-watch of Gilmore Girls or exhausting himself on the dancefloor.
