Joseph M. M. Wiedemann

Joseph engages in the field of North American literary studies, and graduated from the University of Leipzig with a BA degree in American Studies. Especially interested in US-American fiction of the twentieth century, he wrote his Bachelor's thesis on notions of aged masculinities within the works of Raymond Carver. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in American Studies at the University of Leipzig, he extensively focuses his research on literary studies, while also emphasizing on  disability studies and narratology. Apart from university, Joseph loves to spend his days lost in thoughts about American chair designs.
